My 110 WPM partner loved this game. 97% on her first try haha. Really cool game! I need to play more so I can practice my typing skills. Everything was so fluid and responsive and polished. Great job.

That's way better than my own achievement, so mad props to her. I'm glad the game ran well for you both. Thanks for playing!

well, you definitely made me practice my typing skills. My perfectionist mindset wants me to play through it until I get 100% accuracy, but I know 80% something is good enough. I've never really played a typing game before other than for learning how to type.

I never realized how much I relied on autocorrect until I played this game as well so I sadly will not be able to achieve that 100% accuracy. I'm glad you checked it out!

Yeah, if you aren't busy CTRL ALT Defeat is a fun one. My friends made it!

Ooh I've played that one too! Pickle Rick all the way haha

This is such a cool concept! my horrible typing skills definitely made the confrontation even more stressful. love that it takes inspiration from typing of the dead too! I agree with Colossal's comment about the color of the text not standing out easily. it would be nice if that was a bit clearer somehow. Fun game!

Definitely agree with the text color sentiment. Thanks for taking the time to check it out!

This is a refreshing and creative way to tell a story and it totally fits the style. Really well done

Thank you so much!

I loved this, it brought back typeracer and other typing game memories for me. I would have loved to see a typing speed calculation included somewhere, but that would be a doozy! Very fun and great humor and art as well!

Thank you for playing! I definitely had a WPM tracker in mind before realizing that it might cause players to speed through the game without reading the story, so that was a tough decision to make. I think it would be a great addition to the combat session though, so I'll explore that down the line.

I absolutely loved it but died instantly. I really like that you had to make real words after smashing random buttons for a while :D Excellent art style, top notch professional and good sound design. Great work!

I appreciate your kind words, thank you!

well I am too bad at typing too win but had a lot of fun after I realized how to play 👍🔥

I died way too many times at my own game as well, so totally understandable. Thanks for checking it out!

I've never seen anything like this, holy hell. Such a cool concept.
My IBM model M keyboard finally had a workout it deserved.

My keyboard definitely felt that too. Thanks for playing!

LOVES DOGS HATES GLOCKS! Haha. Wow this game is really clever. Really great idea. The execution of the mechanic inside a comic strip was amazing. I did run into a bug where for whatever reason the browser took control of the scroll bar as I hit space and it slid down. Oops. Reload fixed it. Fantastic art coupled with some great sound fx and music. Could definitely see this going further. Great job!

Ahh I thought I fixed that scrolling space issue but it seems not, making a note of it. Thank you for the feedback! Appreciate the shoutout to the SFX, making them from scratch was surprisingly one of the harder parts of this game so I’m glad they turn out well :)

I really like this concept! Typing the character dialogue is really fun and once the monster was approaching I really liked the added stress that brought. Felt like a cool take on like typing of the dead. The art made me feel like I was reading a manhwa, it's really good! The only issue I had is at the start sometimes I wasn't noticing what I needed to type, maybe a different color for it would help it pop out more. I'd love to see more of this!

The Typing of the Dead was definitely the inspo for this, so I'm glad it showed. Thank you for the feedback, I'll make a note of it!
